New noticeboards have been installed in every block, lockable glass cabinets to make sure they can't be used by cab or takeaway companies. They will shortly be put into use. New external lights are being installed to replace defective, dim and energy-inefficient lighting. It is being trialled in the central garden opposite Blackwall Basin. The porters' lodge and estate office has been refurbished as planned, to bring it into line with the look of the other reception areas.

The minutes of the AGM will be out this month, with an update on what other work will be done soon.

And, sadly, one of the directors of Poplar Dock Management passed away suddenly last month. George Gilmour, a resident here for nearly a decade, will be sorely missed by directors, residents and staff alike.

The refurbishment of the communal areas throughout the entire development is now complete. Snagging is taking place now, and the next step is a refresh of the Porters Lodge. This will bring it into line with the rest of the development as it is a heavily-used part of Boardwalk - and also the first thing residents, estage agents and visitors see when they come here.

If you're moving in or out of Boardwalk, please go to the FAQs section from the menu above. There is help on hand to get you the best access to and from your apartment, as well as parking for removal vans if required.

Recycling bins are now available to use in four of the larger bin stores at Boardwalk Place. If you would like to recycle and don't have a recycle bin in the bin store that you use then just ask at the porter's lodge.  The staff there will be able to show you how to access the nearest bin on the development to your apartment.

Welcome to the website for Boardwalk Place, one of the closest residential developments to the Canary Wharf  in Docklands.  Ideally situated for travel, the development is a few minutes walk from the Jubilee Line tube station and the three DLR stations of Blackwall, Poplar and Canary Wharf itself.  It is a short drive from the Blackwall Tunnel and City Airport and is very well served by all the bus routes on the island.

Surrounded by water, with Poplar Dock to the east and the Grade One-listed Blackwall Basin to the south, Boardwalk Place was conceived in the Nineties and completed in 2005.  The 408 apartments and townhouses are totally privately owned and of a very low density compared to most other Docklands developments.  This means there are more gardens and open spaces to enjoy and that the apartments are very spacious compared to later developments in the area.

The iconic boardwalk, complete with signature neon lighting, names the development and leads out over Blackwall Basin.  Both docks have picturesque residential riverboats adding to the heritage of the site, as well as the history of the old cranes on Poplar Dock.

Boardwalk Place is a three-minute walk to the businesses, shopping malls, gyms, bars and restaurants of Canary Wharf, meaning it is ideally situated for both work and pleasure.
